Answer:

area of triangle = 1/2(b×h)

62.56= 1/2×b×18.4

62.56×2×10/184

the altitude will be 6.8

Given :

  • Area of Triangle = 62.56cm²
  • Altitude/Height of Triangle = 18.4cm

 \\

To Find :

  • Base of the Triangle

 \\

Solution :

✰ As we know that, Area of Triangle is given by ½ × base × height . Now in this question, Area of Triangle along with the Height of the Triangle are given and we have to find the Base of the Triangle. So simply we will put the given values in the formula to find the Base of the Triangle.

⠀⠀⠀

⠀⠀⠀⟼⠀⠀⠀Area = ½ × base × height

⠀⠀⠀⟼⠀⠀⠀62.56 = ½ × base × 18.4

⠀⠀⠀⟼⠀⠀⠀62.56 × 2 = base × 18.4

⠀⠀⠀⟼⠀⠀⠀125.12 = base × 18.4

⠀⠀⠀⟼⠀⠀⠀125.12/18.4 = base

⠀⠀⟼⠀⠀⠀6.8cm = base

Thus Base of the Triangle is 6.8cm
