To find BREADTH and PERIMETER of Rectangle :-

Given :-

  • Area = 96 cm^2
  • Lenght = 12 cm

Area = Lenght × Breadth

96 cm^2 = 12 × Breadth

Breadth = 96 / 12

Breadth = 8 cm

Perimeter = 2 (l + b)

Perimeter = 2 × ( 12 + 8 )

Perimeter = 2 × 20

Perimeter = 40 cm

Step-by-step explanation:

Area of rectangle = 96cm²

length × breadth = 96cm²

12 cm × breadth = 96cm²

breadth = 96/12

breadth = 8 cm

Now,

Perimeter of rectangle = 2 ( length +breadth)

= 2 ( 12 + 8)

= 2 × 20

perimeter of rectangle = 40 cm
