Answer:

area 40m².

length 10 m

area = L×B

40m² = 10 ×B

40/10 = 4 m

breadth is 4 m

now perimeter 2(L+B)

2(10+4) m

2(14)

28m

Given :-

  • Length of a rectangle = 10 m
  • Area of rectangle = 40 m²

Find :-

  • Breadth & Perimeter of rectangle

⠀ ⠀ || ✪.Explanation.✪ ||

Formula

\boxed{\underline{\tt{\red{\:Perimeter_{rectangle}\:=\:2\times (Length+Breadth)}}}}

\boxed{\underline{\tt{\blue{\:Area_{rectangle}\:=\:(Length \times Breadth)}}}}

________________________

Let,

  • Length be L m

So,

➩ Area of rectangle = 40

➩ Length × Breadth = 40

➩ L × 10 = 40

➩ L = 40/10

➩ L = 4

Since

  • Length be 4 meter.

______________________

Now,

➩ Perimeter of rectangle = 2 × (Length + Breadth)

➩ Perimeter of rectangle = 2 × (4 + 10)

➩ Perimeter of rectangle = 2 × 14

➩ Perimeter of rectangle = 28 m

⠀⠀ || ✪.Since.✪ ||

  • Perimeter of rectangle will be 28 m
