Given :-

  • Length of a rectangle = 10 m
  • Area of rectangle = 40 m²

Find :-

  • Breadth & Perimeter of rectangle

Formula

\boxed{\underline{\tt{\red{\:Perimeter_{rectangle}\:=\:2\times (Length+Breadth)}}}}

\boxed{\underline{\tt{\purple{\:Area_{rectangle}\:=\:(Length \times Breadth)}}}}

Let,

Length be L m

So,

➩ Area of rectangle = 40

➩ Length × Breadth = 40

➩ L × 10 = 40

➩ L = 40/10

➩ L = 4

Since,

Length be 4 meter.

Now

➩ Perimeter of rectangle = 2 × (Length + Breadth)

➩ Perimeter of rectangle = 2 × (4 + 10)

➩ Perimeter of rectangle = 2 × 14

➩ Perimeter of rectangle = 28 m

⠀⠀ Since,

  • Perimeter of rectangle will be 28 m

Answer:

\large\bf{\pink{Solution:-} }Solution:−

Given :-

Length of a rectangle = 10 m

Area of rectangle = 40 m²

Find :-

Breadth & Perimeter of rectangle

Formula

\boxed{\underline{\tt{\red{\:Perimeter_{rectangle}\:=\:2\times (Length+Breadth)}}}}

Perimeter

rectangle

=2×(Length+Breadth)

\boxed{\underline{\tt{\purple{\:Area_{rectangle}\:=\:(Length \times Breadth)}}}}

Area

rectangle

=(Length×Breadth)

Let,

Length be L m

So,

➩ Area of rectangle = 40

➩ Length × Breadth = 40

➩ L × 10 = 40

➩ L = 40/10

➩ L = 4

Since,

Length be 4 meter.

Now

➩ Perimeter of rectangle = 2 × (Length + Breadth)

➩ Perimeter of rectangle = 2 × (4 + 10)

➩ Perimeter of rectangle = 2 × 14

➩ Perimeter of rectangle = 28 m

⠀⠀ Since,

Perimeter of rectangle will be 28 m
