Solution

Given :-

  • Area of rectangular playground = 1547 m²
  • Length is = 45 m 50 cm

Find :-

  • Breadth of rectangular playground

Explanation

Using Formula

Area of rectangle = Length * Breadth

1 m = 100 cm

So,

==> 50 cm = 50/100 m

==> 50 cm = 0.5 m

So, Total length be

  • Length = 45 + 0.5 = 45.5 m

Now, Calculate Area of rectangular playground

==> Area of rectangular playground = 45.5 * Breadth

==> 1547 = 45.5 * Breadth

==> Breadth = 1547/45.5

==> Breadth = 15470/455

==> Breadth = 34 m
