Length of plot=30 m

Breadth of plot=20 m

Area of plot= 30*20=600m²

Length of house=12 m

Breadth of house=20 m

Area of house=12*20=240 m²

Area of garden=Area of plot-Area of house=600-240=360 m²!

Given :-

  • Area of rectangular garden = 360 m²

  • Length of rectangular garden = 20 m

-------------------------------------------------------------------------

To Find :-

  • Breadth of the rectangular garden

-------------------------------------------------------------------------

Solution :-

We know that

\large \bigstar \:  \boxed{ \underline{\pink{ \bf Area = Length \times Breadth}}}

➽ Substitute values in formula

 :\implies \sf 360 = 20 \times B \\

:\implies \sf B =  \frac{360}{20}  \\

:\implies \sf B = 18 \\

 \large \therefore  \: \boxed{ \underline{ \green{ \bf Breadth \:  of \:garden = 18 \:  m}}}
