Given:-

  • The length of the rectangle is 12 Cm
  • The perimeter of the rectangle is 40Cm.

To Find :-

  • The breadth of the Rectangle.

Solution:-

we know ,

The perimeter of a rectangle is

= 2 × ( length + breadth) unit .

so,

ATQ

⟹ 2( l + b ) = 40

⟹ 2( 12 + b ) = 40

⟹ ( 12 + b ) = \dfrac{40}{2}

⟹ ( 12 + b ) = 20

⟹ b = 20 - 12

⟹ b = 8

Therefore ,

The breadth of the rectangle is 8 Cm.
