Find the breadth of a rectangle whose length is 200 cm and area is 10 m2

Answer:

area \: f \: rectangle \:  = length  \times breadth \\  \: l \times b = 10m {}^{2}  \\ 2m \times b = 10m {}^{2}  \\ breadth =  \frac{10m}{2m}  = 5m

100 cm = 1m

1 cm = 1/100 m

200 cm = 1/100 ×200 = 2m

1 m = 100 cm

therefore , 2m = 200 cm

since,

Area of rectangle = length × breadth .

=>10m2 = 2 × breadth .

=> 10/2 = breadth .

hence, breadth = 5m

direct formula to find breadth is [ Area / length]
