Answer:

divide

135000/15

9000 m^2 AREA OF RECTANGLE

so

area=length×breadth

9000=120×brwadth

breadth = 75 meter

Correct Question :

Find the breadth of a rectangular field given that the length is 120m and the cost of turfing is Rs.15 per meter² is Rs.13,5000.

AnswEr :

\bf{Given}\begin{cases}\sf{Length  \:of \:Field= 120 \:m} \\\sf{Cost \:of \:Turfing = Rs. \:135000}\\\sf{Rate \:of\:Turfing = Rs. \:15 \:@metre ^{2} }\\ \sf{Breadth\: of\:Field=?}\end{cases}

Refrence of Image is in the Diagram :

\setlength{\unitlength}{1.5cm}\begin{picture}(8,2)\thicklines\put(7.7,3){\large{A}}\put(7.3,2){\mathsf{\large{? m}}}\put(7.7,1){\large{B}}\put(9.2,0.7){\matsf{\large{120 m}}}\put(11.1,1){\large{C}}\put(8,1){\line(1,0){3}}\put(8,1){\line(0,2){2}}\put(11,1){\line(0,3){2}}\put(8,3){\line(3,0){3}}\put(11.1,3){\large{D}}\end{picture}

According to the Question Now :

\longrightarrow\tt Cost \: of \:Turfing = Rate \times Area \\ \\\longrightarrow\tt Rs.135000  = Rs.15 \times Area \\ \\\longrightarrow\tt \cancel\dfrac{Rs.135000}{Rs.15} =Area \\ \\\longrightarrow\green{\tt Area = 9000 \:m^{2}} \\ \\\longrightarrow\tt Length \times Breadth = 9000 \:m^{2} \\ \\\longrightarrow\tt 120 \:m \times Breadth = 9000 \:m^{2} \\ \\\longrightarrow\tt Breadth =\cancel \dfrac{9000\:m^{2}}{120 \:m} \\ \\\longrightarrow \large\boxed{\blue{\tt Breadth = 75 \:m}}

Breadth of Rectangluar Field is 75 m.

⋆ Opposite sides are equal and parallel.

⋆ All angles are equal to 90 degrees.

⋆ The diagonals are equal and bisect each other.

⋆ The intersection of the diagonals is the circumcentre. That is you can draw a circle with that as centre to pass through the four corners.

⋆ Any two adjacent angles add up to 180 degrees.

⋆ Lines joining the mid points of the sides of a rectangle in an order form a rhombus of half the area of the rectangle.

⋆ The sum of the four exterior angles is 4 right angles.

⋆ Area of Rectangle = Length * Breadth

⋆ Perimeter of Rectangle = 2*(Length + Breadth)
