Find the breadth of a rectangular plot of land if it’s area is 440 square metres and the length is 22 meters. Also find the perimeter

Hi Chughhina,

Area = breadth * length

Hence,

440 = breadth * 22

breadth = 440/22 = 20m

Perimeter = 2(breadth + length)

= 2 (20+22)

2(42)

Perimeter = 84m

area of rectangular plot = 440
L X B. = 440
22 X B. = 440
B = 440/22
B = 20m
perimeter of rectangular plot = 2(L+B)
= 2( 22 + 20 )
= 2 X 42
= 84 m
