Length of the rectangle = 16 cm
Breadth of the rectangle = b cm

Area of the rectangle = 256 cm²
length × breadth = 256
16 × b = 256
b = 256/16
b = 16 cm

length = breadth = 16 cm

So, the closed figure must be a square. (Not rectangle according to given dimensions.)

area of rectangle is =l*b
l=16cm
l*b=256cm^2
16b=256

b= 256
--------
16
b=16cm

when length and breadth are it's square

and square is also rectangle
