Given :

  • Length of Rectangle = 40cm

  • Perimeter of Rectangle = 146cm

To Find :

  • Breadth

Solution :

Here in the Question We are given Length of Rectangle and perimeter of Rectangle. We know that formula of Perimeter of Rectangle is 2 (Length + Breadth) We can easily find the Breadth of the Rectangle.

Perimeter of Rectangle = 2 (L + B)

➛ 146 = 2 (Length + 40)

➛ 146/2 = Length + 40

➛ 73 = Length + 40

➛ Length = 73 - 40

➛ Length = 33cm

Verification :

Perimeter of Rectangle = 2 (L + B)

➛ 146 = 2 (33 + 40)

➛ 146 = 2 × 73

➛ 146 = 146

Hence, Verified

Breadth of Rectangle is 33cm

Step-by-step explanation:

perimeter of rectangle = 2 X (l + b)

146cm= 2 X (40 + b)

146= 80 + 2b

146-80= 2b

66= 2b

b=33
