According to the given condition
→ Perimeter of rectangle = 160
→ 2(l + b) = 160
→ (l + b) = 160/2
→ 56.5 + b = 80
→ b = 80 - 56.5
→ b = 23.5 cm
Hence,
- Breadth of rectangle is 23.5cm
Verification :-
- Perimeter of rectangle = 160
→ 2(l + b) = 160
→ 2(56.5 + 23.5) = 160
→ 2 × 80 = 160
→ 160 = 160
