hi friend

perimeter of rectangle = 2(L+B)=perimeter

so ,

2 (100+B)= 360

100× 2(B)=360

B= 360 - 200

160/2

80

so, 80 is the breadth of rectangle

Given :

⬤ Perimeter of Rectangle is 360 cm .

⬤ Length of Rectangle is 100 cm.

To Find :

⬤ Breadth of Rectangle.

Formula Used :

\bf[\:{Perimeter\:of\: Rectangle=2(l+b)}\:]

  • l = length
  • b = breadth

Solution :

Let :

  • Breadth of Rectangle be b .

Now :

  • Length = 100 cm .
  • Perimeter = 360 cm .

According to the Formula :-

360 = 2(l + b)

360 = 2(100 + b)

360 = 200 + 2b

360 - 200 = 2b

160 = 2b

160/2 = b

80 = b

Therefore , The Breadth of Rectangle is 80 cm .

Check :

360 = 2(l + b)

360 = 2(100 + 80)

360 = 200 + 160

360 = 360

Hence Checked
