Answer :

  • Breadth of rectangle is 15cm

Given :

  • Area of rectangle = 540cm²
  • Length of rectangle = 36cm

To find :

  • Breadth of rectangle

Solution :

As we know that,

  • Area of rectangle = l × b

Where , l is length 36cm , b is breadth and area of rectangle is 540

》Area of rectangle = l × b

》540 = 36 × b

》b = 540/36

》b = 15cm

Hence, Breadth of rectangle is 15cm

More Explanation :

  • Perimeter of rectangle = 2(l + b)
  • Area of rectangle = l × b
  • Diagonal = √l² + b²
  • where , l is length , b is breadth and P is perimeter

Given

  • Area of triangle = 540 cm²
  • Length of triangle = 36 cm

To find

  • Breadth of triangle

Solution

  • Area = Length × Breadth
  • 540 = 36 × Breadth
  • Breadth = 540/36
  • Breadth = 15

Hence, the breadth of triangle is 15 cm.

Verification

  • Area = Length × Breadth
  • 540 = 36 × 15
  • 540 = 540
  • L.H.S = R.H.S
