Find the breath of the rectangle whose area
is = 208cm2
And Length= 16cm.​

  • Length of rectangle is 16cm
  • Area of rectangle is 208cm²

To find :

  • Breadth of rectangle

Solution :

  • Let the breadth be b

As we know that,

  • Area of rectangle = l × b

Where, l is length and b is breadth

And also given area is 208cm²

》Area of rectangle = length × breadth

》208 = 16 × b

》b = 208/16

》b = 13cm

Hence , Breadth of rectangle is 13cm

Verification :

Given,

  • Length of rectangle is 16cm
  • Breadth of rectangle is 13cm

As we know that,

  • Area of rectangle = length × breadth

》(16 × 13)cm
