Sales tax = 5%

Cost including sales tax = $50 +\frac{5}{100} \times 50$

(b) Two bars of soap at Rs 35 each

Cost of 1 bar = Rs.35

Cost of 2 bars = $35 \times 2 = 70$

Sales tax = 5%

Cost including sales tax = $70 +\frac{5}{100} \times 70$

                                       = $73.5$

So, Cost of 2 bars of soap including sales tax is Rs. 73.5

(c) 5 kg of flour at Rs 15 per kg

Cost of 1 kg of sugar = Rs.15

Cost of 5 kg of sugar =$15 \times 5 = 75$

Sales tax = 5%

Cost including sales tax = $75 +\frac{5}{100} \times 75$

                                       = $78.75$
