Find the capacity of a rectangular cistern whose length is 6m ,breath 2.5 m and dept 1.4 m.Also find the area of the iron sheet required to make the cistern

Capacity of the tank =6m×2.5m×1.4m=21m³
The tank is open at the top so 
area of sheet =2(lb+bh+hl)-lb
⇒2(6×2.5+2.5×1.4+1.4×6)-6×2.5 m²
⇒38.8 m²
