Find the cardinal number of the following set:

A = {x : x is a prime factor of 12}

Since the cardinal no. of a set is the no. of elements in the set;
Hence ,
A={2,3}...since prime factors of 12=2*2*3;
therefore cardinal no. of this set is 2.
