As the line cuts x-axis

Substitute y=0 in the given line you will get x=6 (6,0)

As the line cuts y-axis

Substitute x=0 in the given line you will get y=6 (0,6)

You have 3 points. Now use centroid formula.

(2,2) is centroid of triangle.

Hope this helps you.

hi mate,

Solve x+y-6 = 0

let, on x - axis

1) y = 0

x = 6

(6,0)

on y-axis

2) x = 0

y = 6

(0,6)

3) on origin

x=y=0

(0,0)

centroid formula

x1+x2+x3/3 and y1+y2+y3/3

6+0+0/3 = 2 and 0+6+0/3= 2

(2,2) is the centroid formed with co ordinate axis.

i hope it helps you.
