Given :-

Mass = 1500 kg

Initial velocity = 10 m/s

Final velocity = 20 m/s

To Find :-

Change in momentum

Solution :-

Finding initial momentum

Initial momentum = mass × Initial velocity

Initial momentum = 1500 × 10

Initial momentum = 15000 kg m/s

Final momentum = mass × final velocity

Final momentum = 1500 × 20

Final momentum = 30000 kg m/s

Change in momentum = mv - mu

Change in momentum = 30000 - 15000

Change in momentum = 15000 kgms⁻¹

Hence

Option B is correct
