Find the change in wavelength of 80pm x rays that are scattered 120 degree by a target
using formula,
\lambda-\lambda_0=\lambda_C(1-cos\theta)

here, wavelength of x-ray, \lambda_0 = 80pm

and \theta = 120°

experimentally, \lambda_C = 2.426 pm

so, \lambda - 80pm = 2.426(1 - cos120°) pm

= 80pm + 2.426(1 + sin30°) pm

= 80pm + 2.426 × 1.5 = 83.639 pm

so, change in wavelength = 83.639 - 80 = 3.639 pm
