Circumference = 2*pi*R
R here = 17.5 cm

Therefore, Circumference =2*22/7*17.5
=770/7 =110 cm
Hope this helps!

Q. Find the circle's circumference and area of the circle of radius 17.5cm.

\mathbb{ SOLUTION } :

Given : radius of the circle is 17.5 cm

To be found,
Circumference and area of the circle

Circumference of the circle = 2πr (in which \bf{r} is the \bf{radius} of the circle)

Circumference of the circle = 2 × \frac{ 22}{ 7} × 17.5

\therefore Circumference of the circle = 110cm

Now,

Area of the circle = πr² (in which \bf{r} is the \bf{radius} of the circle)

Area of the circle = \frac{22}{7} × (17.5)²

Area of the circle = \frac{22}{7} × 17.5 × 17.5

\therefore Area of the circle = 962.5cm²
