Formula used,

\boxed{\boxed{\large\mathbf{Area \: of \: Circle = π{r}^{2}}}}

\boxed{\boxed{\large\mathbf{Circumference \: of \: Circle = 2πr}}}

Given,
Diameter = 3.5 cm
π = \frac{22}{7}

We know that,

\boxed{\boxed{\large\mathbf{Radius = \frac{Diameter}{2}}}}

Hence, Radius = \frac{3.5}{2}
Which can also be written as \frac{35}{2 × 10} i.e. \frac{35}{20}

Now,

Area of Circle :

 = \pi {r}^{2} \\ \\ = \frac{22}{7} \times \frac{35}{20} \times \frac{35}{20} \\ \\ = \frac{11}{1} \times \frac{1}{2} \times \frac{7}{4} \\ \\ = \frac{77}{8} \\ \\ \bf = 9.62 {cm}^{2} \: \: (approx)

Circumference of Circle :

 = 2\pi r \\ \\ = 2 \times \frac{22}{7} \times \frac{35}{20} \\ \\ \bf= 11 cm

 \bf \therefore Area \: of \: the \: Circle \: with \: given \: radius \: \\ \bf is \: 9.62 {cm}^{2} \: and \: the \: Circumference \: of \\ \bf the \: Circle \: is \: 11cm.

If any doubt, please ask! ;)
