radius = 17.5 cm

circumference = 2πr

=( 2 × 22 × 17.5)/ 7 = 44 × 2.5

= 110 cm

area = πr^2 = 22× (17.5)^2/ 7

= 962.5 cm^2

Answer: C. = 110 cm ,area = 962.5 cm^2

Solutions :-

Given :

Radius (r) of circle = 17.5 cm

To find :

i) Circumference of a circle
ii) Area of a circle

Find the circumference of the circle :-

circumference of the circle = 2π r

 = 2 \times  \frac{22}{7}  \times 17.5 \\  \\  = 110 \: cm

Find the area of circle :-

Area of circle = π r²

  = \frac{22}{7}  \times  {(17.5)}^{2}  \\  \\  = 962.5 \:  \:   {cm}^{2}

Hence,
i) Circumference of a circle = 110 cm
ii) Area of circle = 962.5 cm²
