Radius of circle = 8.4 cm

Circumference = 2 × pi × r

= 2 × 22 × 8.4 / 7

= 2 × 22 × 1.2

= 44 × 1.2

= 52.8 cm

Area = pi r^2

= 22 × 8.4 × 8. 4 / 7

= 22 × 1.2 × 8.4

= 221.76 cm^2

Answer :

Given that, radius of the circle is r = 8.4 cm

Then, the area of the circle

= πr² cm²

= ( π × 8.4² ) cm²

= (22/7 × 8.4) cm² [ ∵ π = 22/7 ]

= (22 × 8.4 × 1.2) cm²

= 221.76 cm²

and the circumference of the circle is

= 2πr cm

= (2 × 22/7 × 8.4) cm

= (2 × 22 × 1.2) cm

= 52.8 cm
