Answer:

circumference of circle= 2πr

1256= 2*3.14*r

r= 1256/2*3.14

r= 1256/6.28

r=200cm

Question ::-

find the circumference of a circle whose area is 1256 cm² .( Taking π = 3.14 )

Given ::-

  • Area of circle = 1256 cm²

  • Value of π = 3.14

To find ::-

  • Find the circumference of circle ?

Solution ::-

Area of circle = 1256 cm²

________

• Area = πr²

• 1256 = 3.14 × r²

• 1256/3.14 = r²

• 400 = r²

\sqrt{400} = r

• 20 = r

Hence , radius is 20 cm.

_________

• Circumference of circle = 2πr

• Circumference = 2×3.14×20

• Circumference = 40 × 3.14

• C = 125.6

Hence , circumference of circle is 125.6 cm
