SOLUTION :

The diameter of a circle = 4.55 cm   (given)

To be found :-

The circumference of the circle

Radius of the circle = Diameter ÷ 2

                                = 4.55 ÷ 2

                                 = 2.27 cm

Now,

We know that,

Formula for finding circumference of circle = 2πr  units  [ ∴ In which r is the radius of the circle ]

So,

Circumference of the circle = 2 × $\frac{22}{7}$ × 2.27  cm

                                              = 14.26 cm

Hence

The circumference of the circle is 14.26 cm (approximately)
