Given : -

Find the circumference of a pizza with an 18 inch diameter.

To find : -

circumference of circle

Solution : -

Diameter of pizza = 18 inch

Radius of pizza = 18/2 = 9 inch

Circumference of circle = circumference of pizza

= 2πr

= 2 × 22/7 × 9

= 44 × 9/7 = 56.57 sq.inch

Note : -

• Area of circle = πr²
• Perimeter of circle = circumference of circle = 2πr

WKT ,

Circumference of circle = 2 π r

$= 2 \times \frac{22}{7} \times 9 \\ \\ = \frac{44}{7} \times 9 \\ \\ = \frac{396}{7} \\ \\ = 56.57$
