Find the circumference of the circle whose diameter is : (a) 28 cm (b) 40cm (c)35 cm .(solve with explanation)

(a)

Circumference of the circle = 2πr

r = d/2

= 28/2

= 14

=> 2 × 22/7 × 14 (π = 22/7)

=> 75Cm

(b) r = 20

= 2 × 22/7 × 20

=> 125.5Cm

(C) r = 17.5Cm

= 2 × 22/7 × 17.5

=> 110Cm
