Circumference of circle = 2πR

A. Given, R = 63 cm

So, Circumference of circle  = 2 \times  \frac{22}{7 }  \times 63

 = 18 \times 22 = 396 \: cm

B. Given, Diameter = 8.4 m

Radius = D/2 = 8.4/2 = 4.2 m

So, Circumference of circle  = 2 \times  \frac{22}{7}  \times  \frac{42}{10}

 =  \frac{6}{5}  \times 22 = 26.4 \: m

Given :

  • → Radius of circle = 63 cm

Need to Find :

  • → Circumference of circle

Formula Used Here :

  • → Circumference of circle = 2πr

Putting value in formula :

→ Circumference of circle = 2πr

→ Circumference of circle = 2 × 22/7 × 63 cm

→ Circumference of circle = 2 × 22 × 9 cm

→ Circumference of circle = 396 cm

b. A circle with diameter 8.4 m ?

Given :

  • → Diameter of circle = 8.4 m
  • → Radius of circle = 4.2 m

Need to Find :

  • → Circumference of circle

Formula to Be Used :

  • → circumference of circle = 2πr

Putting value in formula :

→ Circumference of circle = 2πr

→ Circumference of circle = 2 × 22/7 × 4.2 m

→ Circumference of circle = 2 × 22 × 0.6 m

→ Circumference of circle = 44 × 0.6 m

→ Circumference of circle = 26.4 m
