Step-by-step explanation:

(a) Circumference of a circle = 2nr ( n for Pi ) and ( r for radius)

So radius given is 14 cm.

But since this a semi-circle we have to multiply it by 1/2

= 1/2 x 2nr

= nr ( Assume Pi as 22/7)

= 22/7 x 14

= 22 x 2 = 44 cm ( Cross cancellation)

(b) Radius given = 21 cm

Here the same rule is applied.

= 1/2 x 2nr

= nr ( Again assume Pi as 22/7)

= 22/7 x 21

= 22 x 3 = 66 cm

But as you can see here not only one semi circle is  given , but also another semicircle is given.

So the total circumference will be = 66 + 66 = 132 cm

Hope it helps :)
