circumference = 2pi r

where r = 2.8 cm

2×3.14× 2.8

=>5.6×3.14

=>17.584

you can round it and write

therefore the circumference is 17.584 or 17.58

$diameter \: = \: 2.8cm$

$rdius \: = \: \frac{2.8}{2} = 1.4 \: cm$

$circumfrance \: of \: the \\ \: figure \:(half \: circle) = \\ \frac{2\pi \: r}{2} = \pi \: r = 3.14 \times 1.4 \\ = 4.396$
