Given :-

Vertices of traingle - (0,6) , (8,12) and (8,0).

To find :-

Co-ordinates of centroid

Solution :-

  • \sf x_1 = 0
  • \sf x_2 = 8
  • \sf x_3 = 8

  • \sf y_1 = 6
  • \sf y_2 = 12
  • \sf y_3 = 0

Substituting the value in formula :-

\boxed{\sf \dfrac{x_1 + x_2 + x_3}{3} , \dfrac{y_1 + y_2 + y_3}{3}}

\sf = \dfrac{0 + 8 + 8}{3} , \dfrac{6 + 12 + 0}{3}

\sf = \dfrac{16}{3} , \dfrac{18}{3}

\sf = \dfrac{16}{3} , 6

\boxed{\rm\red{Co-ordinates\: of \:centroid\: are\: \dfrac{16}{3} , 6}}
