Given :-

The points ( 5 , 7 ), ( 3 , 6 ) and ( 1 , 5 ) are vertices of the triangle.

To Find :-

Coordinates of the centroid.

Solution :-

We know :-

\boxed{\bf Centroid \ formula = \left( \dfrac{x_1+x_2+x_3}{3} \ , \  \dfrac{y_1+y_2+y_3}{3} \right)}

Here :-

\bullet \sf \ x_1=5 \ , \ y_1 = 7 \\\\\bullet \ x_2 = 3 \ , \ y_2 = 6 \\\\\bullet \ x_3 = 1 \ , \ y_3 = 5

x coordinate :-

\longrightarrow \sf \dfrac{x_1+x_2+x_3}{3} \\\\\longrightarrow \dfrac{5+3+1}{3} \\\\\longrightarrow \dfrac{9}{3} \\\\\longrightarrow \bf 3

y coordinate :-

\longrightarrow \sf \dfrac{y_1+y_2+y_3}{3} \\\\\longrightarrow \dfrac{7+6+5}{3} \\\\\longrightarrow \dfrac{18}{3} \\\\\longrightarrow \bf 6

Coordinates of centroid = ( 3 , 6 )

Centroid formula=( x¹+x²+x³/3)

x coordinate :-

⟶ x¹+x²+x³/3

⟶ 5+3+1/3

⟶ 9/3

⟶3

y coordinate :-

⟶ y¹+y²+y³/3

⟶ 7+6+5/3

⟶ 18/3

⟶6

Coordinates of centroid = ( 3 , 6 ) Ans.
