Step-by-step explanation:

using section formula

(mx1+nx2/m+n)and (my1+ny2/m+n)

In the given question

x1=5

x2=-2

y1=3

y2=-1

m=3

n=2

coordinate of x will be

{(3×5)+(2×-2)/3+2}=(11/5)

coordinate of y will be

{(3×3)+(2×-1)/3+2}=(7/5)

SO COORDINATE OF A PONT WHICH DIVIDES THE SAGEMENT JOINING (5,-2) AND (3,-1) IN 3:2 WILL BE {(11/5),(7/5)}
