Step-by-step explanation:

 \frac{m1}{m2}  =  \frac{x - x1}{x2 - x}  \:  \frac{y - y1}{y2 - y}

here, x1=-4, x2=4 M1/m2=2/3.

y1=7, y2=-3,

=> 2/3=x-(-4)/4-x

=> 2/3=x+4/4-x

=> 2(4-x)=3(x+4)

=> 8-2x=3x+12

=> 8-12=3x-2x.

=> -4=x.

=> 2/3=y-7/(-3-y)

=> 2(-3-y)=3(y-7)

=> -6-2y=3y-21

=> -6+21=3y+2y

=> 15=5y

=> 3=y.

The coordinates of the point are (-4,3).
