find the co ordinates of the vertices of the rectangle placed in III quandrant in the cartesian plane with length p units on X axis and breadth q units on y axis

since the rectangle is placed in the third quadrant one vertex is of form (-p,-q)

hence other two parts lie in the negative of x-axis and y-axis

the other vertices will be (0,-p)(-q,0)

and the last vertex will be (0,0) that is the origin

if the rectangle is placed in 3 quadrant so the co ordinates will be of minus sign . so co ordinates will be - p , -q
