Co-ordinate of point P
i.e.
P = (X, Y)
Co-ordinate of point A
i.e.
A (-4,2) = (X1, Y1)
Co-ordinate of point B
i.e.
B (6,2) =(X2, Y2)
Using the midpoint formula,
i.e.
X = X1 + X2 ÷ 2
AND,
Y = Y1 + Y2 ÷ 2
X = -4 + 6 ÷ 2
X = 2 ÷ 2
X = 1
Y = 2 + 2 ÷ 2
Y = 4 ÷ 2
Y = 2
{In the formula forst you have to add then divide the number by 2}
Therefore, the co-ordinate of point P is (1, 2)
i.e.
P = (X, Y)
Co-ordinate of point A
i.e.
A (-4,2) = (X1, Y1)
Co-ordinate of point B
i.e.
B (6,2) =(X2, Y2)
Using the midpoint formula,

Y = Y1 + Y2 ÷ 2
