Given : The algebraic expression is x²+3x+2

To find : The coefficient of x⁰ in the given algebraic expression.

Solution :

We can simply solve this mathematical problem by using the following mathematical process.

Now, we know that anything to the power of zero is always equal to 1.

Similarly,

x⁰ = 1

Now, taking the given algebraic expression :

= x²+3x+2

= x²+3x+(2×1) [As, A number × 1 = That number itself]

= x²+3x+ (2 × x⁰) [As, x⁰ = 1]

= x²+3x+2x⁰

Now, by analysing the modified algebraic expression, we can say that the coefficient of x⁰ is 2.

(obtained from 2x⁰)

Hence, the coefficient of x⁰ is 2
