A16=a +15d
A12=a +11d

a+15d - a +11d =16
26d =16
D=16/26=8/13

a16 - a12 = 16

a16 can be written as a + 15d
and a12 be a + 11d

Where a is first term
and d is common difference.

a + 15d - a - 11d = 16

4d = 16

d = 4

Common difference is 4
