find the common solution 2x + y = 3 and 2x - 3y = 7​

Answer:

2x + y = 3 -------(1)

2x -3y = 7 -------(2)

Multiply (1) by 3 and (2) by 1

6x + 3y = 9

2x - 3y = 7

(3 and -3 will cut )

8x = 16

x =16/8

x = 2

Substitiuting value of x in (1)

6x + 3y = 9

6 (2) + 3y = 9

12 + 3y = 9

3y = 9 -12

3y = -3

y = 3/ -3

y = -1

x = 2 and y = -1 is the value
