60 degree 's complement is 30 degrees because

complement angle is 90 degree

so, 90 - 60 = 30 degrees

20 degree 's complement is 70 degrees because complement angle is 90 degree

so, 90 - 20 = 70 degrees

Hope this helps You....

DEFINITION:

Two such angles whose sum adds up to be equal to 90° or equivalent to a right angle are known as complementary angles.

TO FIND:

The complementary angles of:

(a) 60°

(b) 20°

Ans (a):- Let the complementary be x

60°+x= 90°

x= 90°-60° (after transposition to RHS)

x= 30°

⇒ The complementary angle of 60°= 30°

Ans (b):- Let the complementary angle be y

20°+y= 90°

y= 90°-20° (after transposition to RHS)

y= 70°

⇒ The complementary angle of 20°= 70°

Hope it helps
