(1) Let the measure of its complement be x°. Then,

x + 20 = 90

=> x = 90 - 20

=> x = 70

Hence, the measure of its complement is 70°.

(2) Let the measure of its complement be x°. Then,

x + 57 = 90

=> x = 90 - 57

=> x = 33

Hence , the measure of its complement is 33°.
