\sf A = P( 1+ \dfrac{R}{100})^2

\sf \implies 8000(1+\dfrac{5}{100})^2

\sf \implies 8000( \dfrac{100+5}{100})^2

\sf \implies 8000\:(\dfrac{105}{100})^2

\sf \implies 8000\times \dfrac{105}{100} \times \dfrac{105}{100}=8820

\sf Amount =\sf 8820

∴Compound interest = Amount - Principal

                                   = ₹ ( 8820-8000 )

                                   = ₹ 820

∴Hence, the compound interest is ₹820 and Amount = ₹ 8820.
