SIMPLE INTEREST= 200

=> P × R × T / 100 = 200

=> P × 10× 2 / 100 = 200

=> P / 5 = 200

=> Principle = Rs 1000

Now,

Amount = P [ 1 + (r /100) ]^t

= 1000 [ 1 + (10/100) ]^2

= 1000 [ 1 + (1/10) ]^2

= 1000 ( 11 / 10)^2

= 1000 × 11 × 11 / 10 × 10

= 10 × 121

= 1210

Compound interest = Amount - Principle

= Rs 1210 - Rs 1000

= Rs 210
