FIND the compound interest at 5 percent per annum for 3 years on the principal , which gives simple interest of rupees 2400 at the same rate and for the same time.


if u know the answer, plz tell it with solution .
and don't write anything else except the answer.​

S. I =P×R×T/100

2400=P×5×3/100

P=2400×100/5×3

P= 240000/15

P=16000

Now,

Amount = P(1+R/100) n

=16000(1+5/100) 3

= 16000(100+5/100) 3

= 16000(105/100) 3

= 16000×105/100×105/100×105/100

= 16000×21/20×21/20×21/20

= 16000×9261/8000

= 148176000/8000

Amount = RS 18522

Now,

Compound Interest = A-P

= 18522-16000

Compound Interest = RS 2522
