Answer:

formula = A=P(1+R÷100)∧T

A being the amount, P being the principal,R being the rate of interest and T being the time period.

A=2400(1+5÷100)∧2.5=2711.343173

to the nearest rupee= Rs2711

so interest=2400-2711=311

interest=Rs311

123oceans: ok then the other method is : 2400 × 1.05^2.5=2711........ then subtract from 2400 to get Rs 311 as the interest
pihu2523: it's 312

Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

Formula to calculate the compound interest is P[ (1 + R/100)^T - 1]

As per the information given in the question, P = 2400, T = 2 1/2, R = 5%

(2400( 1 + 5/100)^5/2 ) - 1

= 2400[(1.129732) - 1]

= 311.352

kblavanya97: mark as brainliest answer plz
pihu2523: can you find it without using the formula
kblavanya97: how we find without formula is basic formula for compound interest
pihu2523: sorry??
pihu2523: ok
