Compound Interest = p {1+r/100}^n - 1

P = 12000
R= 5%
T=2
A/Q

C. I = 12000{ 1+5/100}² - 1

= 12000* 105/100*105/100-1

= 12000*110 25/10000 - 1

= 12000* 1025/10000

= 12* 1025/10

= Rs 1230.

So, compound interest = Rs. 1230
