Solution,

A compound ratio is also termed a Mixed ratio.

A mixed ratio indicates the new ratio obtained by multiplying two or more ratios' corresponding antecedents and consequents.

The first ratio as per the question = $\frac{75 cm}{1m 25 cm}$

A meter has 100 cm.

Thus on substitution, we can replace 1m25cm with 100+25 cm, = 125 cm.

Thus the first ratio = $\frac{75}{125}$

The second ratio as per the question = $\frac{Rs.10}{Rs. 7.50}$

A rupee has 100paise.

Thus on substitution, we can replace ₹7.50 with 700+50paise, = 750paise.
